Crystal holds a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia and is a practicing member of the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists (BCAK). The goal of kinesiology treatments is to improve range of motion, joint function and stability, alleviate pain, facilitate injury recovery, and increase muscle strength through movement.
In 2022, Crystal was involved in a motor vehicle accident, resulting in multiple motor vehicle accident-related injuries. Her firsthand experience navigating the recovery process provided her with valuable insight into the therapeutic experience from a patient’s viewpoint and highlighted the importance of active rehabilitation. This experience also amplified her commitment to helping others manage and recover from their injuries, advocating for her patients, and ensuring that her clients feel supported and understood throughout their recovery journey.
As a kinesiologist, Crystal uses evidence-based approaches to treat and prevent injuries, as well as to improve overall movement and performance. She specializes in working with individuals who have sustained motor vehicle accident-related injuries, musculoskeletal injuries, and those with chronic health conditions.
Crystal is dedicated to empowering her clients, fostering their confidence through exercise, and facilitating their return to pre-injury activities and capabilities. During kinesiology sessions, Crystal will create individually tailored treatment plans that address each client’s specific needs and preferences
