Meet Sandy, a passionate fitness leader and dedicated sports coach who has been empowering individuals since 2008. With a deep-seated interest in the human body and a love for coaching, she turned her passion into a fulfilling career in Kinesiology. Sandy graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Kinesiology in 2016 and a Master of Kinesiology in Coaching Sciences in 2019, equipping her with a solid foundation in both theory and practice.

Her journey began on the field, where she served as a student athletic trainer for UBC Men’s field hockey and rugby teams. Here, she honed her skills in assessing, treating, and taping acute injuries. But her expertise doesn’t stop there—Sandy has trained athletes in soccer, rugby, baseball, and basketball, focusing on strength, conditioning, and performance enhancement in the varsity gym.

In 2019, Sandy became a registered Practicing Kinesiologist with the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists (BCAK). Her specialties encompass sport and exercise pedagogy, performance planning, and injury prevention and rehabilitation. Sandy has worked with a diverse range of clients, from pre-and post-surgical patients to individuals navigating motor vehicle accidents, workplace injuries, and both acute and chronic conditions.

What sets Sandy apart is her commitment to evidence-based practices. She believes in equipping her clients with the tools and knowledge they need to achieve their goals, fostering a collaborative and client-centered approach that makes every session enjoyable and supportive.
